Bid Manager / Business Development Role - Burness - EDINBURGH

There now exists an opportunity for an able business development/ bids manager to join the firm.

You’ll support the Business Development Director in developing and executing the firm's growth strategy and have particular responsibility for managing the production and delivery of effective bids. You'll work alongside practice area heads and have an important role in mentoring lawyers in enhancing their business development skills.

In your management of often complex bids, you will be responsible for scoping each bid and testing it against strategy, executing appropriate research and analysis, structuring each bid and co-ordinating the firm's response and assisting in bid interview preparation and performance appraisal.

The successful candidate will bring a sound understanding of business development in a professional services environment and have excellent writing skills. You will also be a robust and effective communicator and have a good knowledge of IT systems. You will also be commercial, well organised and enthusiastic..
